Why firms retain us

Search run with the discretion the seat demands.

Specialists, not generalists

Each partner works one discipline — capital markets, risk, investment or advisory — and knows the leadership market by name, not by job board.

Regulator-ready candidates

SMF suitability, conduct history and references are evidenced before a name ever reaches your board — so an appointment clears approval first time.

Boardroom to desk

From a Chair appointment to a senior PM hire — one accountable partner across the whole leadership team, owning the search end to end.

Our standard

We place the people boards trust with capital, conduct and reputation.

Most of what we do never reaches a job board. A single partner maps the market by name, assesses against the actual mandate, and stays accountable from first call to approved appointment.

Before you brief us

The questions firms ask first.

Everything below holds for a regulated, confidential, retained mandate. Anything else, ask a partner directly.

How confidential is a retained search?

+

Every mandate runs off-market and by name. Your intention to hire — or to replace someone in seat — never reaches the desk in question, a competitor, or the wider market. Approaches are made discreetly, references taken late, and nothing is published.

How is this different from a contingent agency?

+

We are retained, not contingent. One partner owns the search end to end, maps the whole leadership market rather than pulling a job board, and is paid to bring judgement — a tight, referenced shortlist — not a wall of CVs against a fee race.

Do you assess regulatory and SMF suitability?

+

Yes. For regulated seats we evidence SMF suitability, conduct history and references before a name reaches your board, so an appointment clears approval first time rather than stalling at the regulator.

What is your typical timeline to shortlist?

+

We map the market in the first fortnight and bring a referenced, diversity-balanced shortlist inside the first month for most mandates. Retained search to signed offer typically runs around eleven weeks at this level.

Do you support the appointment after the offer?

+

We stay through offer negotiation, regulatory approval and the first 100 days in seat — the period that decides whether a senior appointment actually lands.

Ready when you are.

Tell us about the role — a specialist who works your market replies within one business day.

No obligation — a straight conversation about your hire.
